Lang-8 Rewrite 2

私の高校の時

今、高校を卒業したから、たくさん思い出を考えます。スカルスデール高校で勉強するの時、とても忙しくて、いつも経験していました。ヂベートチームと数学チームとクイズボウルチームをしながら、むずかしいクラスを選択しました。ですから、たくさん仕事をしなければ、全部の好きなことをすることが出来ません。今、デベートをはやく止まるの方がよかったと思います。一年生と二年生の時、デベートをするのが必要でした。たくさん人の前に話せませんでした。デベートをしてみた後で、こんでいた部屋に話しやすいと思います。でも、三年生の時、よろこびませんでした。デベートのトピクは変で、つまらないと思いました。デベートをしないで、クイズボウルをすればよかった。クイズボウルをするために、新しいことをおぼえました。高校を卒業時までに、ぶんかやかがくやげいじつのじじつを覚えていました。便利ですね。もう一度高校に入れば、私の大切なものを変えます。けれども、高校はとても楽しかったです。

I think that I had good practice with this Lang-8 assignment in using a bunch of the new vocabulary that we were learning in Chapter 7. I tried to use a bunch of the vocabulary from recent chapters that I do not think I would otherwise have used that much such as こんでいる. The few corrections that I received were also involving a preferable phrasing of several of these sentences involving words that I do not know yet. As a result, I think that I used the grammar and vocab well. On the other hand, after re-reading the passage, I feel as if I missed some opportunities for using more grammar that I know I need to learn to use more. For example, I probably could have found a way to use　〜てしまう when I was expressing regret about having done debate for so long. While I think I could have done a bit more to push myself while writing this, I think that I overall did fine.
